In this course, it was centered on conceptualizing and exploring the development of our own portmanteau furniture design. My portmanteau was a vanity - made to function for both storage and as a station with a mirror traditionally used for getting ready. My model was inspired by modular shelving units, and was also made to secure onto a wall with a french cleat method. It is named after it’s proportions as the mirror side is twice the length of the storage units. This project also solidified skills in 3d modeling and rendering!
